MetaMiner (Stem Cells)

MetaMiner (Stem Cells) Project is launching in Q1 2009. Our goal is to develop sets of stem cell pathway maps and understand the commonalities and differences between the following types of stem cells such as:

• Adult stem cells
• Embryonic stem cells
• Fetal stem cells
• Fibroblasts
• Hematopoietic stem cells
• Mesenchymal stem cells
• Multipotent stem cells
• Neoplastic stem cells
• Pluripotent stem cells
• Totipotent stem cells

This will be a 24 months project directed by the members in a shared cost scenario. Our current members include: A large Pharma, Northwestern University and the University of Glasgow.
