MapEditor™MapEditor™ for creating custom pathwaysMapEditor™ is a software tool for custom editing of existing canonical pathway maps, conversion of networks into map views for pathway analysis, and drawing regulatory and metabolic maps from scratch. The unique feature of MapEditor is its real time coupling with our manually curated knowledge base. A user may choose the genes, proteins, compounds and interactions from MetaBase or introduce new objects. Custom maps then can be securely “published” (added to MetaCore’s pathway collection on the user’s server), used as a template for mapping experimental data, saved and shared with colleagues. Users can focus and organize their wet lab or in silico research around a set of interactive maps created in MapEditor™ and linked to MetaCore™. MapEditor allows users to visualise their hypothesis using the standard MetaCore objects and interactions as well as disease specific perturbed interaction symbols. MapEditor gives the user the ability to link the objects and interactions to their own files in their local network or to relevant external websites, add explanatory notes and text directly on their map and keep the audience focused by only showing those interactions which are relevant to their research. MapEditor™ for pathway analysis is an “add-on” tool seamlessly integrated with both MetaCore™ and MetaDrug™. It is available for web portal or in house installation on a named or concurrent user basis Product highlights - Pathway Editing
